Top Things I'm a Sucker For

So, it is indeed Fall, and as I’ve mentioned before, the time is crisp to get boo-ed up. So what might I be looking for in a boo? Well, I’m not going to get real deep, I’m just gonna give you a few things that I’m a total sucker for. A sucker, in this case, is “a person especially susceptible to or fond of a specified thing.”

Here are a few things in no particular order.

  1. A cute smile. Preferably with dimples. And nice cheekbones. The kind of smile that makes me smile.
  2. A woman that can make me laugh.
  3. The fact that she’s not drooling all over me nor is she easily intimidated.
  4. Curves — more specifically hips, thighs and err… umm… posterior.
  5. Friendly banter — someone I can have some “intense fellowship” with. Someone I can disagree and argue with,  and yet still have a good time. All is fair in love and war, right?
  6. A great pair of stilettos. Yes, not just heels — stilettos. At least four inches. Enough said.
  7. The ability to have a great conversation. Someone I can talk to about anything for any length of time, but generally, the longer the better.
  8. Intelligence. And common sense. Together.
  9. The kind of eyes I could just get lost in. I have no color preference as long as they’re rich and deep. After all, eyes are the windows to the soul, aren’t they?
  10. Lips. Not the thin “are they there?” lips, no. I mean full, plump, juicy lips.
  11. Seeing her interact with kids who enjoy her.
  12. Smooth skin.
  13. I almost forgot — a woman that can cook. Oh yeah.
  14. All of the above in one package. It’s harder than you might think.

What do you think? Are you surprised about anything? Did I leave out anything that you expected?

    Stu… *I check your blog every day by the way waiting for a new one*… are you in general attracted to black women over white women? *Sorry I'm not being conscious in using those terms* Don't shoot me for asking please. I ask because numbers 4 & 10, generally speaking, would normally describe a black woman. Now clearly in today's society the lines are blurred thanks to all sort of injections for every area of the body. But, I will just have to be the bold *or ignorant, whatever you prefer* one and ask you if you were persuaded to one side more than the other.

    Also.. the stilletos thing… does that mean you don't mind if a woman is taller than you in those heels? Being 5'8" I tend to shy away from 4 inch heels…because I'm clearly TOWERING over majority of men this lovely Chocolate City area.

    Overall I love the list. Seems very simple honestly… and I understand that #14 is true because at the end of the day.. no chemistry.. no flow.

      I have a tendency to be attracted to Black women more, but it’s not to say that I wouldn’t date anyone else. It just depends. If a woman is taller than me with heels, I’m ok with that. Being 6’1″ it’s a rare feat that they’re taller than me flat-footed, but with heels it’s ok. But that’s me. Some guys aren’t ok with that. But at 5’8″ I’d say go for it. If that can’t handle it, that’s on them!
